Frank is going to drop a 700HP small block in it and run it as a dependable, predictable 8 sec bracket racer, he is a NHRA DIV 1 past regional Super Eliminator finalist. He has done the heads up and all that, 5 Sec rails when that was about as fast as anybody went, 6 sec door slammers, so if you think the drivers who can't drive, hide in bracket racing, well you just haven't had you ass handed to you by one of the experienced guys that would rather run every weekend, instead of working on their car 2 months between passes. It will be 1800 lbs with pilot, 35's and the natural breathing small block. The car was blueprinted by Art Morrison in NJ, Frank is a dealer for the well respected A Morrison and will get certification for his new chassis down to 5.49 or something like that. It has carbon fiber tubs, all moly frame, 72" wheelie bars, Pro Stock style wing, new electronics, fully finished interior including a mahogany inlayed dash ring. When I look at it, I visualize a 1500 hp twin turbo perched between the coilovers. He is a smaller guy than me but my 205 lb fat butt could actually fit in there pretty good (that's his racing daughter in a couple of the pics) because you are sitting pretty far back, with your back right up against the tubs. I would need a 17-18 inch seat instead of that narrow 15. He even decided to lift the paint code off of my 04 redfire, and is going to paint the 05 cavalier bowtie glass shell Ford candy apple red! the irony of it all! He wasn't sure if he was going to say anything, but the first thing I said when I saw the test spray was "you liked the color of my car, didn't you?"
